Welcome to Shelbs’ Dog Spa, where every pet receives the care and attention they deserve. My name is Shelby Ping, the proud founder and owner of Shelbs’ Dog Spa. I embarked on my grooming journey in June 2023, but my love for dogs has been a lifelong affair.

From a very young age, I was drawn to dogs, and this passion only intensified as I grew older. After graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from Indiana University, I was driven by the dream of starting my own business, though I was uncertain about the path I would take. It wasn’t until I had the opportunity to work at a friend's grooming salon that I found my true calling.

At Shelbs’ Dog Spa, we are more than just a grooming service; we are a place where pets are pampered and treated with the utmost care and professionalism. Our journey is fueled by a passion for animals and supported by professional expertise, ensuring that your beloved pet not only looks great but feels great too.

    As the co-owner and "behind-the-scenes" expert, David ensures everything at the spa runs smoothly so the focus stays exactly where it belongs: on your pets. From facility management to coordinating the daily flow, he is dedicated to providing a calm, organized environment for every furry guest.

    David is a proud dog dad to his and Shelby’s two dogs—Daisy, a gentle giant Newfoundland, and Lettie, a spunky Doodle!
